I'm confident I've caught most of it.

Do you know how your employees like your company's software stack?

I know exactly what they like and what they don't
I have a good sense from a select few opinionated employees.
Totally in the dark; we've never asked.

How much time do you spend per month tracking down stats related to your software spend?

I'm pretty diligent about tracking software spend, and it takes me a lot of time to keep it that way.
When I have the time, I reorganize our records and compile our data in spreadsheets.
I don't have time to do this.
Someone else on my team does this.

How well do you budget for SaaS?

Very well - we're always at or below plan.
Doing alright - there are variances at times, but can keep things afloat.
Not great - there's always surprises and we struggle with sticking to budget.

Have you done your due diligence into benchmarking your contracts' pricing?

Yes, I've gathered some of my own data through the grapevine but nothing formal.
No, and feeling like I'm operating blindly on whether I'm overpaying.

How certain are you that your company's applications don't overlap?

Very confident - there's no way that any of our applications are redundant.
Not sure - but there's a high likelihood we have crossover between out applications.
I know we have overlapping software, and need help identifying where to start.

How much are you spending per month on your software?

Too much - but I don't have hard data easily accessible to back that assumption up.
Too much - and I do have hard data available to back that assumption up.
I have no visibility into this. / I'm not sure.
Too little - my software isn't meeting my current needs.

How are you currently keeping track of updates related to your contracts?

I've got a manual system in place that works for me but does not help me communicate with my peers.
When I remember a contract is renewing, I'll reach out to the vendor - but nothing formal.
